A water fountain!!

As we were leaving the park we showed Hayden how to drink from a water fountain. What fun that was, he was having the time of his life! Sorry about the sound on the video, it's because of the wind.

Sunday was a beatiful day so we took advantage of it and went to the park. It's so much more fun this year because Hayden can walk and explore himself. It was really windy but we enjoyed our little family outing!

New Car Seat

I haven't posted for a little while because I didn't really know what to post or write about. We have been enjoying this past month. Ryan and I are both ready for his spring break which means that the end of the semester is right around the corner! He is planning to work this summer and maybe take an evening class. I am continuing to work at the cafe. We have started attending a church that started in February. We are really enjoying it and excited to see what God is going to do there. Hayden had a rough couple of times going to the nursery but he's getting better each week. Hayden is walking everywhere, no more crawling! He loves to point to things (especially food!) to try and tell us what he wants. We had some interesting days last week when he went on a no drinking strike for 2 days! Not sure what his deal was but we got another kind of sippy that he seems to like. He wouldn't take a bottle or sippy no matter what was in it. It's still not that warm out, I am so looking forward to no coats! It seems warmer weather is taking it's time getting here.

Hanging out with the birthday boy

Yesterday I spent some time hanging out and playing with Hayden. As I look back at the past year I am amazed by how much Hayden has learned and grown and how much I have learned as a new mom. I have enjoyed almost every moment(i'd be lying if i said every moment) and I have a hard time remembering my life before Hayden was a part of it. I am excited to see what this next year holds for me as a mom and for Hayden as he grows.

Family comes for a visit

My parents, sister and brother came for a visit this weekend. The weather wasn't that great but we still had a lot of fun anyway. We were able to get out a little on Friday evening and Saturday morning before it was cold and rainy. Thanks for making the trip down, we enjoyed every minute of it. While they were here we had a little birthday party for Hayden and invited a few of our neighbors. He was so blessed with many gifts for his family and friends in PA and NC! He also decided to start walking!! On Saturday he started taking a few steps between people and just before his party on Sunday he was walking across the room! We are so proud of him!
